Dr. Daphne McConnell

Dr. Daphne McConnell has been at Benedictine College since Fall 1999.  She earned her undergraduate degree in French with a minor in Spanish in 1989. She completed her graduate studies at the University of Georgia, earning an M.A. in French in 1991 and a Ph.D. in Romance Languages, with a specialization in French, and a minor and graduate certificate in Women’s Studies in 1998. She directs the study abroad programs in Lyon, France and Sevilla, Spain. Her primary areas of teaching and research interest are French and Francophone literature and film, and immigration in France.
